Job IntroductionThis role has a starting salary of £50,047 per annum, based on a 36-hour working week.
We are excited to be hiring a new
Voluntary Sector and Community Partnerships Lead to join our fantastic Community Partnerships and Prevention Service.
Surrey's Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector is large and diverse, and the Voluntary Sector & Community Partnerships Lead is pivotal for Surrey County Council delivering vital work with our partners across Surrey.

The Community Partnerships and Prevention Service at Surrey County Council is dedicated to building strong, resilient communities where every individual can thrive.
We work collaboratively with voluntary organisations, community groups, and other stakeholders to address social challenges, promote well-being, and enhance the quality of life for residents across Surrey.
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team as the Voluntary Sector & Community Partnership Lead.
The role has several exciting and varied dimensions:
- Implementing the council's approach to supporting voluntary, community and faith sector
- Supporting the grant funded relationships with our key Voluntary Sector Infrastructure organisations.
- Managing complex internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Developing evidencedled policies and strategies that provide value for money and improve outcomes for residents.
- Collaborating with within the Community Partnership & Prevention Service on other critical pieces of work, such as the 'Team around the Community' Model and supporting the utilisation of Social Value.
- Line managing the Surrey Immigration Manager.
