Global manufacturer require a Production Planner.

Applicants need production planning, material planning or production control experience, have previous exposure to an MRP/ERP system and some competency with MS Excel.

The Production Planner will be responsible for generating, monitoring and reporting on the progress of manufacturing plans. This role is available on a 12 month FTC

Specific duties of the Production Planner will include:

  • Investigate and own issues affecting production plans
  • late deliveries, shortages etc
  • Ownership of WIP process, requiring relationship building with engineering/shop floor etc
  • Generation and analysis of production plans in regards to routing, resources, capacity etc
  • Update and maintain data in MRP relating to inventory levels
  • Escalation of issues to Production Planning Manager where appropriate

Production Planner applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience in; production planning or control, supply chain, materials planning or control
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP
  • Experience with MS Excel
  • Motivated, selfstarter with good teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working on a 12 month FTC basis
