Nuffield Health is the charity that's building a healthier nation, one day at a time.

From award-winning hospitals and leisure facilities to flagship community programmes - we'll do whatever it takes to look after the UK's wellbeing.

It starts with passion and commitment to quality. It starts with you.

The NEPR programme will change the way we work across Nuffield Health and put in place a new technology-enabled operating model for our hospitals, replacing many of the manual and paper/location-reliant processes with an integrated and flexible patient-centric approach, supported by internet-enabled technology solutions.

At the core of this will be a pan Nuffield Health Electronic Patient Record (EPR), which will be used by our clinicians and staff on mobile and traditional devices throughout our hospitals, clinics and gyms, as well as from remote locations outside the Nuffield Health estate.

We are currently recruiting a Pharmacy Process Stock Specialist to join our high performing team and help drive change through new ways of working.

The Opportunity:

The Pharmacy Stock Process Specialist will represent their functional area and be responsible for defining and owning the end-to-end processes, working with the solution partner to review and validate that the configuration, workflows and data supporting Nuffield Health's pathways and target way of working.

It is essential that procurement and ERP systems are reflected in the solution and/or necessary updates are made to reflect the desired "best practice".

The Pharmacy Stock Process Specialist will be an "agent for change", developing a network of advocates across the division, and representing the case for change, and the benefits arising from adopting both the target model processes and new systems.

The Pharmacy Stock Process Specialist will also be responsible for testing the solution(s), ensuring the system is usable, clinically sound, and follows best practice.

They will also be involved in the ongoing update of training materials, and preparing Nuffield Health staff for go-live across the hospital network.

They will be involved in the maintenance and update of Test Scripts and Work Instructions, as well as supporting on system and FDB upgrades.

The Pharmacy Stock Process Specialist team member will have milestones and deliverables across the validation and deployment phases.

The changes which NEPR will bring to Nuffield Health will be significant and team members will need to be energetic and tenacious in their approach as they will be introducing new ways of working, new system(s) and new devices throughout the care settings and support services in our Hospitals, from Outpatients to Diagnostics, Theatres, Wards and clinical support services such as Pathology, Radiology, Pharmacy and into all admin areas.

Other key responsibilities include:

Maintaining the Documentation / Mapping of end to end pharmacy processes

Acting as ultimate functional process "authority" for any process variance challenges, which emerge during deployment.

Supporting the collating and validation of all stock data required for deployment.

Ongoing development and execution of end to end solution validation

Support the assessment of the current "As Is" at each site for Pharmacy Process
