Information Security Specialist - Azure - Remote/Manchester - to £71K + excellent benefits
Currently seeking a skilled and experienced Information Security Specialist to join a leading financial organisation.

As an Information Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the assurance and compliance of our projects and programs.

You will focus on securing our Azure environment and have a solid understanding of how to implement effective security measures.

You would be working across multiple projects and programmes, providing assurance and compliance oversight and ensuring they meet cybersecurity requirements.

Collaborate with the internal technical teams, Program Managers, Delivery Leads, and Heads of departments to ensure projects align with defined security standards.

Identify and address risks, conduct audits, and manage cybersecurity issues and processes.

Support organizational change by promoting a culture of cybersecurity awareness and stay up-to-date with industry trends, ISO and NIST frameworks, and emerging cyber threats, integrating them into security practices.

Information Security essential skills:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in an InfoSec or cybersecurity role, with a focus on assurance and compliance.
Strong experience in securing Azure environments and indepth knowledge of Azure services.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and address security risks.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high level of compliance.

Information Security specialist beneficial skills

Cybersecurity qualification
Experience in the financial services industry
Familiarity with ISO and NIST frameworks is
Microsoft Azure certifications
DevSecOps experience
