Description:

Due to an increase in workload, my client, an leading engineering company based near Leeds City Centre are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector to join their existing team on a permanent basis.

Hours - 07:30 / 16:30 - Mon to Thursday/ 07:30 / 14:00 Friday

Overtime available all paid at premium rates hours per week available

Role Description

Checking machined parts and checking large components from heavy machining departments.
Providing first piece inspection of machine parts.
Measuring and working to very fine tolerances.
Creation of inspection and nonconformance reports.
Any other reasonable duties as requested

Skills & Attributes

Time served in a relevant engineering discipline
Conversant in the use of traditional measuring equipment Micrometers/Verniers
Experienced in the use of CMM
Experience as a Quality Inspector within an Engineering/ Manufacturing environment.
Experience inspecting machined/ fabricated components

Experience with NDT
