Stoke-on-Trent - Onsite

Manufacturing

9 to 5pm

45k to 47k plus company car allowance

Annual bonus


At Reed Finance in Chester, I am working with a global manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent who require an ambitious finance individual, qualified or a finalist who is keen to progress within the finance career and gain available experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Assisting in all aspects of the finance department including weekly sales and month end reporting.
  • Working closely with the Financial Controller and be able to provide cover in his absence.
  • Margin reporting and analysis
  • Preparing quarterly vat returns.
  • Check submitted expenses in line with policy and prepare for approval.
  • Assist in preparation of various account reconciliation including balance sheet reconciliations.
  • HMRC returns, including VAT
  • Fixed asset register management
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Stock analysis and reporting
  • Provide timely and insightful reporting and management information as required.
  • Fostering relationships with key senior managers
  • Undertake projectbased work for specific business strategies & initiatives.
  • Excellent IT skills, proficient in excel (lookups, and data tables)
  • SAP experience would be advantageous.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Selfmotivated, able to prioritise and meet all deadlines.
