Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials in our warehouse.

This is a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing shipments
Safely stack and store products in designated areas
Perform regular inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or repair needs
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
Maintain accurate records of inventory movement using our warehouse management system
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
Assist with other warehouse duties as needed

Experience:

Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting
Proficient in materials handling techniques and best practices
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management
Ability to safely lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
Basic mathematical skills for inventory tracking and record keeping
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred
Mechanical knowledge to perform minor equipment repairs is a plus

Pay:
Up to £11.50 per hour
