Description
Birmingham LGBT is seeking to recruit a part time domestic abuse Group Worker for the Rainbow Project.

The Rainbow Project is a new culturally competent group work programme for lesbian, bi and trans women who are survivors of domestic abuse.

We are planning to extend the programme to develop modules for GBT men (gay, bi and trans) and the postholder will also deliver the programme to this cohort.

The post will be supported by sessional group workers.

We recognise the importance and advantages of diverse workplaces and communities, and we acknowledge under-representation in our workforce of Black, Asian, and global majority people; people who are Romany or Irish Traveller, and people with lived experience of migration.

We particularly welcome applicants from those backgrounds, identities and lived experiences.

The successful applicant will join a motivated and enthusiastic team of domestic abuse workers based at the Birmingham LGBT Centre in central Birmingham.
