Lifestyle & Events Coordinator

Do you want to enrich the lives of our residents by supporting them with their independence and well-being through meaningful activities?


You'll become an invaluable part of our residents' daily lives when you join Alderwood Care Home in in Colchester as our Lifestyle Coordinator.

You'll be responsible for daily activities to accommodate our residents' who all have different interests and hobbies.

Your role


As our Lifestyle Coordinator you will help plan and organise a whole variety of activities and events within the home for our residents to create a fun and interesting environment for them.

You will also offer comfort and company on a one-to-one basis for any residents unable to undertake the activities.

Here's some other important things you need to know:

  • You must be alert at all times to our residents' physical and mental well being
  • Organise and accompany Residents, where possible, to offsite activities, which may occasionally take place out of normal working hours
  • Understand and ensure the implementation of the Care Homes Health and Safety policy, and Emergency and Fire procedures.
