The Marketing and Communications team at DMU is growing, and this newly created role will be a key member of the Directorate's Marketing team, leading on the creation and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns,across a range of audiences.


The Directorate offers full-service marketing and communications support to the university, comprising brand and creative development; design and print services; corporate and student recruitment marketing campaigns; CRM and conversion campaigns; facultymarketing and recruitment; reputation management; media relations; internal and external communications engagement; events; schools and colleges engagement; Widening Participation; enquiry management and follow up; web and digital development and market insight.


Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you will lead the development of high-impact, effective marketing content and materials to support the university's 'The Empowering University' strategy and recruitment ambitions.

You will work collaboratively with arange of stakeholders, and provide leadership to a team of Senior Marketing Officers, in a highly competitive and fast-paced environment to deliver innovative and high-quality marketing solutions.


To be successful, you will need significant experience working in a marketing or campaign management role, developing and executing successful global advertising and marketing campaigns, including broadcast and digital media buying.

You will have previouslyworked with media and communications agencies, optimising budgets and delivering value for money.


We are looking for a forward-thinking, creative and innovative person with experience in the collaborative development and optimisation of customer journeys, especially across digital channels.

With this in mind, you will need to have an understanding ofcampaign metrics, with detailed knowledge of key digital tools for establishing, monitoring and optimising digital campaign activity, with a particular focus on paid search, paid social advertising and SEO.
