It's a great time to join Lockton's Global Real Estate and Construction team, and we're currently recruiting for a Policy Administrator to join our Asset Data Digital Solutions (ADDS) team in London.


Lockton's ADDS team was launched in May 2021, created to specifically focus on services provided to the insurer partners of the Global Real Estate and Construction Division.

Our team deliver policy production and services to insurers, utilising the Global Real Estate and Construction in-house Asset IT system, and this is a key role in providing day-to-day service delivery and administration/processing duties.


Key tasks and responsibilities
Service delivery

  • Provide day to day administrative servicing for our real estate insurer partners and client service teams
  • Collate property risk data from the client service team ready for processing
  • Set up new client, agents and insurer accounts on the core processing systems
  • Update client, agent and insurer accounts as directed
  • Create and prepare Asset Policy Schedules for new and renewal placements
  • Create and prepare Slips for new and renewal placements
  • Create and prepare Endorsements, Cover Notes and Addendums
  • Manage ongoing updates/changes to Asset Policy Schedules instructed by the client service team
  • Process midterm adjustments/cancellations
  • Prepare, process and deliver invoices to the client service team
  • Maintain records, forms and documents on the central Lockton filing system and shared drives in accordance with the group procedures
  • Assist with the creation of insurer Declarations and Payment bordereaux
  • Provide adhoc reporting and statistical analysis for our insurer partners and client service teams
  • Meticulously check your own work ensuring Lockton and ADDS procedures are followed including Second Pair of Eyes Checks
  • Communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Effectively manage queries with the client service teams and escalate to the ADDS Team Leader as required
  • Support the Team Leader in delivering training to new associates
  • Provide support in delivering efficiencies within the processes carried out
  • Provide feedback for Asset insurer review meetings and actively contribute to the development of relationships
  • Provide support in delivering enhanced reporting and system development to Asset insurer partners


  • Qualifications

  • Strong academic background
  • Previous experience in an insurance administration role
  • Analytical mindset and problemsolving skills, and strong degree of numeracy
  • A general working knowledge of commercial and residential property insurance, and the broking process
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Effective and professional communicator
  • Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality
