Company and Role Overview

Main responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the Group's Press Office function from distribution lists to responding to media inquiries about the Group.
  • Media monitoring, scanning the daily news agenda to identify proactive opportunities and potential issues, delivering the daily headlines, and preparing coverage reports and general media admin.
  • Creating/requesting content and assets for ongoing brand communications (messaging/FAQs for events or campaigns, press releases, media alerts, interviews, and keynote presentations)
  • Work closely with the C-Suite and senior leadership team to support our various spokespeople with briefings, prepping and coaching. You are their first line of defence.
  • Develop and execute local, regional, national, and international corporate PR strategies (including communication plans, goals, and tactics), fitting to our various audiences.
  • Develop a media relations strategy, securing highlevel placement across all media.
  • Dive into new market segments and enlarge our reach.
  • Consult internal units on communication aspects for all current and future projects and programmes.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure that news and announcements are reflected appropriately across our digital channels (website and social media platforms).
  • Work with your colleagues to identify and deliver stories and case studies.
  • Support the delivery of press events including logistics, media engagement and spokesperson preparation.
  • Provide PR reports to the Head of Marketing & Communications

Requirements:


  • Possess a good 'network' of Media contacts.
  • Storytelling skills and an understanding of how to craft impactful narratives.
  • Previous experience with PR software tools such as Meltwater, Vuelio or Agility (ideally)
  • Experience in strategic reputation management
  • Excellent written and verbal in English.
