£21,133 - £21,434 (Pro-rata for part-time and sessional)
Hours: 3.75 per week, 38 weeks sessional
St. Catherine's is a Roman Catholic Primary School which is situated in the Gracemount area of Edinburgh.
Built in 1966, the school serves a catchment area which is fairly wide and comprises a social mix, attracting families of many faiths and of none.
Our school population is made up of a healthy and diverse mix of children from Scottish, Eastern European, Asian and African families.
We are a Parish and Learning Community where stakeholders play a significant role in deciding the direction of the school, and in the development of colleagues, by learning from each other.
We have an active Parent Council who are very supportive of the experiences we provide our learners.Our Parent Council constantly work hard to provide fundraising opportunities for both the pupils and our families to take part in.
The current school roll is 208, with 7 classes and a Nursery with capacity for 20 pupils.
In accordance with Council procedures and the instructions of the Head Teacher/Business Manager, you will support the operation of the Breakfast Club with regards to the supervision, care and welfare needs of the pupils who attend.
You will be required to establish an environment with organised activities and encourage the involvement of all pupils who attend.
This may include the use of play and craft activities. You will work as part of a motivated and enthusiastic team in delivering a quality Breakfast Club service.You will be asked to follow procedures in compliance with Health & Safety actions required to safely run a Breakfast Club.
Generally, you will be expected to support any other Ad Hoc requests made by the School Management Team in terms of the operational running of the Breakfast Club, including basic administrative assistance.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
