    About Us

    ATTAIN is a growing full service digital agency based in Wigan. We work with a wide range of clients, from local businesses and charities to national organisations, providing bespoke digital solutions, software development, website design, CRM systems, and marketing support. We are now looking for a talented and ambitious Web & Software Developer to join our in-house team.

    The Role

    We're on the lookout for a creative problem-solver who's passionate about clean code, collaboration, and delivering high-quality digital solutions. You'll be working on a diverse mix of projects including bespoke software platforms, CRM systems, and WordPress websites.

    This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years' experience who's ready to take responsibility, make their mark, and play a key role in shaping our technical capability as we continue to grow.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, build, and maintain bespoke web and software applications
    • Develop and integrate CRM systems tailored to client needs
    • Build and optimise responsive websites using WordPress, PHP, and Laravel
    • Revise, edit, and improve applications for performance, security, and user experience
    • Collaborate with design, marketing, and operations teams to deliver seamless solutions
    • Take ownership of projects from concept to deployment
    • Debug and troubleshoot across multiple browsers, devices, and platforms
    • Support ongoing development of our internal systems and products

    Skills & Experience

    • 2–3 years' experience in both web and software development
    • Strong PHP skills (WordPress essential; Laravel desirable)
    • Proven experience with CRM systems - building, customising, and integrating
    • Proficiency in PHP, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
    • Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
    • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
    • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
    • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
    • Experience with eCommerce development and third-party integrations

    Nice to Have

    • Familiarity with version control (Git)
    • Knowledge of SEO principles
    • Interest in UX/UI design
