Description

Jobstore Uk are recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver for an immediate start with our busy distribution client based outside Glasgow.

You will be working for a great, relaxed business who put their customer satisfaction at the forefront of their business.

Duties will include

Vehicle safety, maintenance and cleanliness
Daily route planning and control of delivery documentation
Safe loading and unloading of heavy goods to customer properties and to local warehouses
Communication with customers, stores and warehouses
Plan and drive to predetermined appointments with due care and attention
Liaise with customers to confirm delivery times
Ensure deliveries are unwrapped and checked for any damage prior to leaving the customer's properties
Maintain vehicle to the legal requirements and as outlined in the Driver's handbook
Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations

This role will involve heavy lifting.

Requirements for the post

You must be selfmotivated and hardworking
Excellent communication skills
Clean 3.5T licence
