The people we support all have there own likes and dislikes and will require you to respect this and support them to live their best lives possible.


Within this service you will be required to support 4 lovely ladies in their home which is a large bungalow located in South Hylton, Sunderland.

The people we support enjoy lots of different activities, some of which are listed below.

  • Most of the people we support are mobile but on occasion need a little bit of physical assistance to get around especially out and about in the community. Two of the people we support need assistance using a walking frame.
  • The people we support have different challenges lives which include, autism, learning disabilities and mental health
  • Things the people we support enjoy:
  • Volunteer Charity Shop work.
  • Going for Afternoon tea, always involving cake
  • Quiet walks
  • Music & Dancing
Our staff team are great, and some of there responsibilities are but not restricted to:

  • Maintain homes
  • Complete personal care
  • Moving and positioning
- enabling the people we support to maintain relationships with family and friends

  • Planning trips away and holidays.


we are looking for support workers who have the same interests as the people we support and are happy to get involved with every aspect of all there lives.


Your values:

Our ideal team member will have a Level 3 qualification in Social Care or equivalent experience (paid, voluntary or personal experience)


You will be willing to take the time to get to know us and communicate clearly so I know what's happening.

It's important that you're reliable and that we have common interests, but you also need to be able to get on with the rest of my team.

During the recruitment process, we like to meet new people in our homes for a cuppa and a chat
