R&D Tax Consultant_(part-time - 2-3 days per week)_

Job Descriptions
An exciting opportunity for an Research and Development (R&D) Tax Consultant on a part-time/contract basis.

Full training will be provided but applicants must have extensive industry experience working with/around R&D and will have experience writing commercialreports.

You will be experienced working with senior personnel within organisations and will have strong communication skills to gather information required.

You will also have strong desk research skills to gather industry/project information to accompanyreports and you will also be financially literate and able to put together basic financial spreadsheets.


Full training will be provided on R&D Tax credits so you are able to offer clients with technical advice on R&D tax and the submission of claims to HMRC.


  • Responsibilities for the role include:_
  • Providing specialist advice on R&D tax reliefs
  • Preparation of written reports to support R&D tax relief claims
  • Preparing financial calculations to support claims
  • Work across a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Attending various client technical and business meetings
  • You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to use industryspecific language to explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences.


Applicants will have an industrial background in an Engineering/scientific or similar discipline - ideally within a Research or development discipline.

You will be a highly professional individual with strong consultative communication skills.

You will beable to work to tight timeframes, be able to multi-task and will be looking to progress your career within a business orientated STEM discipline.

This role is a part-time position working from home with remuneration based on completion of reports.
