TimePlan Education are looking to appoint a History Teacher who has the passion and enthusiasm to engage children through the love of History.

This History Teacher role is a full-time, permanent appointment and will commence in April 2023.

This academy, located in Bexley is a 'good' school with increasingly oversubscribed pupils on roll as a result of the quality education and pastoral provision offered here.

Every child is an individual and they strive to ensure everyone can be the best theycan be.

With the increase in roll, the school are looking to appoint another quality colleague to join their expanding Humanities faculty as a History Teacher.

The History department is fantastically resourced with a supportive team who are always eager toseek new challenges. They aim to ensure their young people become rounded and successful citizens in their future career paths.

We are looking for a History Teacher who:

Has knowledge and understanding of the History curriculum in KS3 and KS4 including knowledge of new specifications at KS4 & KS
Good/outstanding classroom practitioner with an understanding of how children learn
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate, inspire and support colleagues and children
Has a commitment to raising aspirations and progress for all
Has the ability to teach across the age range with previous examination success
Has a passion to make a difference in pupils' lives.
