Description

To take a key role within the Radiology Systems Team in supporting the delivery of the Radiology ICT Services throughout the Trust and to the wider Service Users.

This includes such activities as account creation and password resets, image management, system configuration and support.


Provide first line help and incident resolution support to users of the Radiology systems and services within Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and other external service users, acting as an efficient and effective interface between end users and the various system support teams at both a local and national level.

Work within the Radiology Systems team as well as independently

Provide password resets to all trust staff groups

Work within organizational and professional policies and procedures using own initiative and taking manager advice if required.


Provide and organise and plan suitable training programmes with the ability to adapt these to the changing needs of various groups of staff.


Prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines in response to the changing healthcare environment and conflicting demands and can make adjustments due to fluctuating workload.

Give support to users during periods of planned and unplanned system downtime.

Ensure safe use of Trust ICT equipment in line with the Data Protection Act, and Health and Safety legislation.

Ttrouble shooting on system errors, staff queries and checking of information.

Visits to wards/outpatients deptpartments

Be able to remain calm when interacting with service users, who may on occasions become frustrated and irate.
