    Job Title: Final Layout Artist

    DNEG Animation is a world-class studio that creates high-end animated feature films and episodic content for audiences worldwide. We're growing our global crews to deliver exciting projects, with an unwavering commitment to quality.

    We're seeking talented Final Layout Artists to join our team, where every role plays a vital part in the success of our shows. As a key member of our crew, you'll be responsible for placing animated characters in scenes, set dressing shots, adjusting camera moves, and ensuring continuity between scenes.

    You'll also create simple models and prop animation. To succeed in this role, you should have a strong emphasis on visual storytelling, including composition and staging. Familiarity with Maya and pipeline issues is essential.

    The ideal candidate will possess good communication and organisational skills, be technically adept, and able to take direction. You'll work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

    Requirements:

    • Full knowledge of Maya
    • Familiarity with pipeline issues
    • Strong emphasis on visual storytelling, including composition and staging
    • Generalist ability

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of cameras and lenses
    • Showreel featuring feature animation work
