Job Purpose:

To maximise the quality of life by providing social and psychological support for individuals and appropriate groups of residents.
To create a stimulating activity programme using the appropriate tool in each home.

Skills, knowledge and qualifications

Required:

Genuine interest in working within a caring environment
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Have good written skills
Team player
Satisfactory DBS check and check against the ISA List (where applicable)

Desired

Relevant Vocational Qualification (achieved / working towards)
Worked in a Care Home previously and some experience of arts and crafts

Reporting to:
the manager or the person in charge

We are looking for 2 positions

36 hours

24 hours

£10.60 per hour
