If so, Osbourne Appointments are currently recruiting for a Graduate Engineer in Product Design and Technology Permanent position for a client based in Ware.


Days/Hours:
Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 and Fridays 07:30 - 12:30

30-minute lunch Monday - Thursday

15-minute paid break Monday - Friday

**Graduate Engineer Responsibilities: - Produce fully detailed manufacturing drawings and liaise with sub supplier for drawing approvals.

  • Review orders received and complete the work sheet giving clear direction to workshop for scope of work to be carried out.
  • Provide technical solutions for design and manufacture of new processing components.
  • Will be required to visit customers both in UK and overseas to discuss engineering and design issues.
  • Carry out inhouse and onsite measuring on various equipment.
  • Establish appropriate corrective action when reviewing raised manufacturing or supplier deviation reports for components being supplied.
**Ideal Qualifications and Experience for a Graduate Engineer: - BSc or equivalent qualification / experience in a mechanical engineering discipline.

  • Knowledge and understanding of engineering component manufacturing.
  • Demonstratable ability of producing accurate detail mechanical engineering drawings.
**Graduate Engineer Personal Attributes: - Willingness to learn new systems and engineering procedures.

  • Must be IT literate and familiar with 2D and 3D Drafting Software.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Good at building relationships.
  • Ability to work within tight schedules and manage time effectively.
  • Driving licence for driving in UK desirable.
