Working for a Charity that specialises in helping people who are victims of homelessness supporting existing and former tenants in dealing with rent arrears

Set up accurate and effective systems for the collection of rent
Minimize the level of rent arrears and maximize clients income providing residents with expert knowledge on budgeting
Ensure systems are in place for communicating liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
Make sure the computer system is updated with details of individual rent arrears actions and advise on the improvement of such systems
Advise tenants on their welfare benefits, offering advice and encourage debt counselling, complete claim forms on behalf of tenants and verify claims on behalf of the Local Authority
