The RoleAs a Front-End Engineer at Xiatech, you will play a key role in designing and building our front-end web applications.
You will collaborate closely with Xfuze product managers and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences for our Xfuze platform.
Your primary focus will be on front-end development using React, TypeScript, and modern styling framework. You'll help define best practices for front-end architecture and component libraries.The role offers an opportunity to work with modern web frameworks, APIs, and cloud-based infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications using React and TypeScript.
Work closely with our UI/UX team to bring wireframes and prototypes to life.
Build and maintain reusable components and contribute to the design system.
Work as part of a cross-functional squad, delivering new features using agile methodologies with minimal guidance.
Work with MongoDB and other data stores.
Write and maintain unit and end-to-end tests using Jest and Playwright to ensure quality.
Review PRs and provide feedback to maintain high-quality code and engineering best practices.
Participate in technical discussions and contribute to platform improvements.
Stay up to date with the latest web technologies and advocate for best practices.
You'll likely bring:
Strong experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript
Solid understanding of component-driven architecture and front-end state management
Experience working with modern styling approaches (e.g. Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, component libraries)
A testing mindset, with hands-on experience using tools such as Jest or Playwright
Awareness of performance optimisation and accessibility principles
Comfort working in an agile, collaborative environment
Beneficial but not essential:
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP)
Experience integrating with APIs in production systems
