This post is to provide full administration for the Psychiatry modules in Phase 3a of the MBChB medical degree programme.

Over 2,500 students study in the faculty each year on over 40 different courses. In addition, over 200 students are registered on research degrees, supporting a faculty research portfolio in excess of £30M.

The Phase 3a team within the Academic Unit of Medical Education supports the training of medical student doctors during their 3rd and 4th year of the programme.

The team organises the student placement and training requirements across several specialty areas, of which psychiatry is one.

The students rotate through these speciality areas throughout the year, with the administrator organising timetables, teaching and placements for each block in addition to responding to student enquiries and supporting the work of the wider Phase 3a and later years professional services team.
