Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer to work within a North London Local Authority.

Job Purpose

Barnet's new Local Plan and Growth Strategy direct significant future housing growth towards Barnet's network of town centres. This provides an unrivalled opportunity to deliver not just housing but sustainable, mixeduse communities that address the challengesfaced by high streets, support economic growth, and deliver a range of environmental, health and wellbeing outcomes.
By acting as the voice for town centres, this role is critical to ensuring that the multitude of services, activities and interventions are not only coordinated but add up to far more than the sum of their parts.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future vitality of Barnet's town centres.
The postholder would be responsible for scoping and project managing the capital delivery of works identified within Town Centre Strategies across multiple centres that combine economic, social and physical interventions. In this role the officer willbe required to work closely with the Town Centres Investment manager to help inform and develop the strategic thinking and continue to scope and access funding for future capital and revenue funded work to support our highstreets to diversify and adapt.
