About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a
Control Systems Administrator to join our Power Transmission & Distribution business based in
Leeds.
Role Purpose:
The main function of the role is to provide support to the Substation Control Systems (SCS) department in relation to the administrative tasks associated with the Secondary System Support Contract (SSSC) and SCS projects.
What you'll be doing
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for the following:
- Being available for and taking the SSSC helpdesk calls from the client
- Maintaining the SSSC Database
- Stock checking
- Producing the required monthly reports
- Inputting call data into the database
- Ordering Materials/Equipment
- Printing and collating information for site
- Arranging couriers
Who we're looking for
You will have the following qualities and experience:
- Must be able to prioritise workload
- Must be able to work to deadlines
- Must be proactive and committed in their approach to work
- Must work well and confidently both individually and as part of a team
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Must be IT Literate
- Good knowledge and ability in Microsoft Word & Excel
