Job Description:


As a member of a busy content team, the Content Marketing Specialist will provide support for a range of content types.

This role is a vital part of the content marketing engine, helping to ideate, create, publish, and promote all manner of content from blogs and guides to videos, animation, graphics and brochures.


Working closely with the Content Marketing manager and with other members of the team, this role will help to level up the content offering and work closely with stakeholders across the business.

The ideal person will be a generalist who is able to write a social post, optimise a blog and edit a video all in the same day.


An interest in the IT Services sector would be desirable, along with an interest in the latest technology trends and a growth mindset to come into a busy environment and make the most of every opportunity.


Role Tasks / Key Deliverables


Owning, creating, and optimising content including blogs, guides, web pages, videos, infographics, animations, social copy, and case studies with the help of the rest of the content team, our in-house designers and select external agencies.


  • Assisting with the development and deployment of the content strategy where required
  • Helping to manage our editorial calendar
  • Performing research on trending topics and developing content ideas with our inhouse experts.
  • Crafting content designed for strong SEO performance, taking into account competitors, keywords and opportunities to rank for thought leadership.
  • Developing strong relationships with various internal stakeholders and understanding where their service propositions fit into the wider strategy.
  • Integrating with the sales team to learn the resources needed to fill all parts of the funnel and drive highly qualified leads and opportunities.

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years demonstrable content marketing experience
  • Proficiency in English
  • Working knowledge of reporting tools and SEO
  • Experience in IT or a passion for working in technology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Resilient and able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Innovative and creative thinker with ability to initiate and manage own projects with excellence as a core value
  • Eager to learn new things, explore opportunities and find solutions
  • Experience with Hubspot CRM and building and delivering campaigns a plus
  • Some design experience desirable.
