Description
Willmotts Transport is one of the largest independent warehousing and distribution companies in the South West.

Due to continued success and growth, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our friendly and dynamic team out of our warehouse in Shepton Mallet.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Take part in the daytoday operation of our warehouses and storage facilities
  • Taking delivery of goods for storage
  • Checking for damaged or missing items
  • Moving stock by hand or with machines
  • Destuffing containers
  • Loading / unloading trailers either for deliveries or collections
  • Cleaning the warehouse

Key Competencies:


  • Proven experience in a warehouse setting
  • Able to work as part of a team and alone
  • Capability to report correct information to colleagues
  • You will thrive in a fastpaced environment
  • A forklift licence (both counterbalance or reach truck)
  • Bonus, paid weekly

Benefits:


  • After 2 year's unbroken service employees will receive an additional day's holiday which will increase by an extra day (pro rata where necessary) after each additional full years' service up to a maximum of 3 days.

Additional Details:


  • Hours of work Monday to Friday 42.5 hours p/week
  • Workplace Pension
  • Immediate start required

£10.50-£11.50 per hour
