£88,364 - £119,133 PER ANNUM PRO RATA

The Chester Medical School is an exciting new development at the University of Chester, which delivers a range of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in clinical and biomedical sciences.

An opportunity exists for a suitably experienced secondary care consultant or associate specialist to oversee the development and implementation of the teaching, learning and assessment of Year 2 of the MBChB programme (planned to start in 2024) and develop and implement a range of appropriate secondary care placements with local education providers.

This includes direct responsibility for overseeing arrangements for placement management and quality monitoring and coordinating educational activities with other staff to ensure students are prepared to get the best out of their placements and contribute to the provision of high-quality healthcare.

You will undertake research/scholarly activities as appropriate and represent the Chester Medical School externally as required and be expected to contribute to the School's teaching and administration, actively promoting medical education.
