Job description:


The EMA Alliance Sales Lead, SAP role requires the ability to operate at a very Senior level including with Clients and KPMG GLPs as well as SAP leadership.

The role also requires a significant amount of team management experience to enable the role to effectively lead the EMA SAP Sales team, as well as proven Sales experience throughout the whole deal cycle


SAP will be a major opportunity for Alliances Globally and Regionally now that we are coming off the Audit and is the second largest and extremely important Global and EMA Alliance (FY23 USD $740m bookings with EMA contributing USD $352m) and is therefore also one of our four priority Alliances in EMA.

KPMG's capabilities across EMA for SAP, especially in our key solution focus areas of Powered Enterprise, ESG and Business Technology Platform (BTP) are still emerging and not yet consistent across our EMA member firms.

EMA-level support is required to generate the right level of pipeline and opportunities for the member firms, especially when it comes to large multi-jurisdiction opportunities.

The EMA SAP Alliance Sales Lead is responsible for:
a.)

Leading the EMA SAP Alliance Sales team including:
Team development and performance management Responsibility for all SAP-related sales opportunities across EMA which have been qualified, prioritized, and assigned to EMA SAP sales team members Owning the SAP-related sales cadence and reporting for the EMA Head of Alliances b.) The EMA SAP Alliance Sales Lead is also individually responsible for identifying and coordinating sales opportunities across EMA within the assigned Sectors of Banking, Insurance, IM / Automotive, Government, Life Sciences, Consumer Goods including Global, Global Platinum or Strategic Growth Accounts; developing and managing pipeline, driving bookings growth, and interfacing with SAP Sales Executives to ensure a coordinated GTM approach and sales leading practices.

The need for this role is underlined by the very frequent (sometimes daily) requests from EMA Member firms to assist with ongoing pursuits.

With the current team setup, EMA is not able to provide adequate support.


Deliverables and accountabilities

  • Contributes & owns the industry sales approach to the target sales quota for assigned Industrial Manufacturing Sector.
  • Oversees the Sales Teams own industry sales approach for SAP for one or more of the following areas: Financial Services, Infrastructure, Government, Healthcare, Consumer and Retail, Technology, Media and Telco, Life Sciences, Healthcare, and other areas when required.
  • Contributes to the achievement of EMA Member Firms' annual bookings targets.
  • Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders within KPMG and with SAP (focus on Account Leaders).
  • Delivers EMAwide SAP sales and technical Best Practices that enable KPMG to respond quicker and more effectively to large sales opportunities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage numerous leads and opportunities simultaneously across multiple time zones, and deliver within set timeframes.
  • Receives positive feedback from member firms and SAP teams

Skills and Experience

  • Significant technology solution sales and business development experience with a proven record of selling complex services and solutions.
  • Strong Technical understanding of the SAP platform preferred.
  • Sales and Business Development experience in Big 4 a plus but would consider relevant EMA / Global sales experience.
  • Previous SAP or SAP Partner a plus.
  • Strong sales and sales management skills with attention to detail coupled with the ability to think big.
  • Motivated, proactive, and hardworking team player who is resultsdriven, actionoriented, and outcomesfocused and can motivate teams to exceed goals.
  • A fast learner and wellorganized. A proactive communicator with excellent verbal and written English communication skills (both verbal and written). One additional European language proficiency preferably German (Italian, Spanish, French or Dutch) is required.
  • Confident and proactive in the adoption and use of technology, including a high degree of MS Office skills.
  • Strong and proven relationshipbuilding skills, able to hold their own with senior leaders.
  • Cultural awareness and understanding are essential. Previous experience working across functions and geographies will help you succeed.
