Description

We're looking for an Events Executive to join our team at Burges Salmon, working on a hybrid basis from our Bristol office.

This is a newly created role where you will collaborate closely with our Events Manager and Campaigns Manager to ensure the seamless execution of marketing events and campaigns.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be varied, and you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting campaigns and projects, developing expertise alongside our high performing Marketing & Communications team.


What you'll be doing:


  • Assist in all aspects of event delivery, including sourcing venues, handling queries, and managing bookings for inperson, virtual, and hybrid events.
  • Oversee logistics for inperson events, including badge production, room setup, and guest coordination.
  • Research and source suitable venues and brief third parties on event requirements.
  • Explore corporate hospitality ideas and present proposals.
  • Collaborate with thirdparty businesses for hosted events at our offices or online.
  • Utilise our contact database (InterAction) to meet events requirements.
  • Support postevent coordination, including debriefing meetings, evaluation forms, and invoicing.
  • Create and update events project plans, maintain the event calendar, and track progress.
  • Travel to London and other UK locations to provide onsite event support with flexibility to work outside regular hours when required.
  • Assist in planning and executing external marketing activities, such as conference sponsorships, strategic partnerships, podcasts, and video series.
  • Support campaign asset development, social media plans, materials and video production
  • Contribute to the implementation, tracking and ROI measurement of campaigns.

What we're looking for:


  • Previous experience in event coordination, campaign support, or marketing administration.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using marketing platforms and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
