The Procurement Assistant role is based within our Translink business area.
We're working to deliver multi-million-pound rail projects in Northern Ireland through our partnership with the rail operator, Translink. Whether you're a skilled or aspiring rail professional, there are some incredible opportunities.
The role
The difference our new Procurement Assistant will make
As a Procurement Assistant, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will provide support to the Procurement & Supply Chain Manager and ensure development and adherence to Procurement procedures.
You will ensure that all purchases of materials, goods, services or sub-contract works are procured in line with the standards prescribed within the Railway Group and line Standards or other such standards as are applicable for the works being undertaken, to ensure that the Company complies fully with it's contractual obligations in respect of safety and quality assurance.

Experience:
- Procurement experience whether its procurement admin, junior buyer is essential
- Business related qualification (i.e. HNC Business Administration) is desirable
- Excellent Data Management and Analytical skills is essential
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills is essential
