Head of Delegate Sales - B2B Events

UK Based Role with Travel - (can be remote based in UK)

Jackson Barnes Recruitment is recruiting for a Head of Delegate Sales to head up and grow a team of Delegate Sales Managers and Executives.

The Head of Delegate Sales will be responsible for:

The delivery of agreed revenue targets for B2B Events
Managing and growing a team of Delegate Sales Managers and Executives
Overseeing recruitment, retention, training and development
Proven track record of success in Delegate sales within a B2B Events organisation
Exposure to managing delegate sales managers, in a fastpaced and highgrowth environment.
Hiring, training and leadership
Managing through managers
International experience, particularly in the USA, is highly advantageous

Outline of the key responsibilities:

Exceed agreed delegate sales team targets (sales, drop outs, rebooks, referrals etc)
Maintain correct team numbers
Increase delegate quality and active delegates
Maintain a positive work environment
Align all initiatives with the business including delegate intelligence gathering
Improve delegate retention
Key role in growing and engaging the community
Work with the Leadership team to maintain accurate forward schedule and resourcing and deliver the delegate annual and quarterly plans
Support crossfunctional alignment with the senior team
Develop deeper survey intelligence and postregistration project intelligence
Drive new digital product launches around virtual gatherings and meetings
Lead and manage the international expansion of all products
Run well managed forward resource schedule to maintain headcount and productivity
