£33,000 - £40,000 per annum

Full Time
A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Manager to join my client in the Walsall area. You will be based in a lovely office environment and close to amenities.


Duties and responsibilities:


  • Process client payrolls accurately and efficiently
  • Oversee payroll process for all clients
  • Produce monthly figures for directors
  • Review current payroll process and implement appropriate changes as and when required
  • Review client payroll processes and recommend improvements
  • Review payrolls prepared by internal staff members for quality control purposes
  • Promote the payroll department with a view to increasing revenue levels
  • Day to day management of the payroll team

Person specification:


  • CIPP qualification is preferred
  • Previous experience working in an accountancy practice would be highly advantageous
  • Must have previous payroll management experience
  • Experienced using SAGE payroll is preferred
  • Must have experience completing end to end payroll
  • Must be able to work on own initiative
