A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Manager to join my client in the Walsall area. You will be based in a lovely office environment and close to amenities.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Process client payrolls accurately and efficiently
- Oversee payroll process for all clients
- Produce monthly figures for directors
- Review current payroll process and implement appropriate changes as and when required
- Review client payroll processes and recommend improvements
- Review payrolls prepared by internal staff members for quality control purposes
- Promote the payroll department with a view to increasing revenue levels
- Day to day management of the payroll team
Person specification:
- CIPP qualification is preferred
- Previous experience working in an accountancy practice would be highly advantageous
- Must have previous payroll management experience
- Experienced using SAGE payroll is preferred
- Must have experience completing end to end payroll
- Must be able to work on own initiative
