We are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a local authority based in Leicestershire for a Senior Development Manager on an interim basis for 9-12 months.

The Senior Development Manager will provide a decisive and effective leadership to team(s) in line with the council's 'Vision & Values' and 'Leadership Qualities' that enables them to do their best work resulting in high levels of people and organisationalperformance.

The Senior Development Manager will project manage a range of residential and commercial development projects to deliver the physical development outputs, together with financial and economic outcomes for the Council and to co-ordinate, identify and promotethe Council's interests in relation to strategic development sites.

Experience Required:

Significant experience and expertise across a range of professional disciplines including property development, planning, urban design, housing, highways, and transportation
Experience of stakeholder engagement/management, public consultation, and media relationships
Experience of managing capital and revenue budgets.
In depth knowledge of property, planning, regeneration legislation, guidelines, and policy sufficient to give advice to colleagues, the City Mayor & Executive, Elected Members, Senior Officers, the public, external agencies, and partners.

Day rate negotiable and contracted for up to 3x days per week.
