Key Accountabilities of this role will include:

  • Work with operational teams in relation to process mapping, waste reduction, problem solving and visual management.
  • Ensure that the initiatives being considered drive optimum benefits for our network and are aligned with the company's objectives as well as other areas of work such as IS, Innovation and Data projects.
  • Strong communication and influencing/negotiating skills to build and maintain effective relationships with peers and management at all levels, both internally and across stakeholder groups.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques to drive incremental and step change improvements in performance.
  • Ability to consider data quality and accuracy from commercial aspects, including system and process changes and their impacts on internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create strong relationships with both own and other Networks to identify trends in performance and share/gather learning(s) to the benefit of the Network and Cadent.
  • Demonstrate a curious approach to the role by actively looking for areas of improvement.
  • Overseeing the development and use of data systems to design and create efficient ways of organising and analysing network data.
  • Providing timely data to senior managers and stakeholders regarding current performance related activity, via performance management services which are fit for purpose.
  • Developing fit for purpose digital tools and processes which provide intelligence from data, performance information and wider organisational intelligence, which is presented in ways that inform decisionmaking at all levels.
  • Promoting continuous improvement by sourcing and sharing best practice to make use of emerging thinking, new technology and innovation to maximise data quality, data handling and strategic use of data.
  • Ensure each team member understands how they contribute to the success of the team.
  • Ability to motivate staff to achieve targets in periods of high workload.

Technical Skills

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office desktop packages, including Advanced Excel Skills.
  • Ability to use other core systems (SAP, ClickSoftware).
