Save the Children UK has an exciting opportunity for a collaborative individual with significant senior PA/EA experience in a corporate head office environment or INGO to join us as our
Senior Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator.


Please note that:

Whilst you will predominantly be working from home/remotely; however, there is the requirement for this role to work in our
Farringdon-London office one day a week.

This will be agreed with your Line Manager and team.

About the role


As our
Senior F&M Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing excellent support, guidance and coordination for the Executive Director of Fundraising and Marketing (F&M) and wider F&M division, including supporting the launch of our new CRM programme.


As a reliable point of contact for the Executive Director and the wider F&M division, you will assist with day-to-day tasks, managing schedules, and coordinating meetings.

Ensuring that all necessary documentation is prepared and readily available to facilitate efficient decision-making.

You will work closely with the teams within the F&M division, fostering effective communication and collaboration. This will involve organizing regular meetings, disseminating relevant information, and facilitating discussions to align goals and initiatives.


You will support the team to build and manage high level external relationships, implement strategy, plan effectively and drive overall divisional performance to reach our ambitious goals for children.


What will an average day look like?
Every day is different in our team, but here are some of the things you can expect to do in this role:

  • Supporting the launch of our new CRM programme including co-ordinating meetings, developing communications and tracking progress and engagement
  • Project manage workstreams close to Exec. Director priorities including our work on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion ensuring there are clear agendas, actions and next steps on behalf of the Exec. Director
  • Play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the directorate team and become an informed key contact in relation to all activities within the responsibilities of the Exec. Director
  • Manage the Directorate expenditure and ensure it is on track, ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely manner and keeping thorough records.

About you
To be successful, it is important that you have:

  • Significant senior PA/EA experience in a corporate head office environment or INGO
  • Excellent organisation and administration skills with the ability to plan and prioritise work for self and others.
  • Highly level of computer literacy, confident with Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
  • Professional and calm with the ability to think quickly on your feet in an everchanging environment the ability to meet changing and challenging deadlines while maintaining a rigorous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to write and adapt style to different voices and audiences.
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent time management skills. The postholder will need to manage their own time well, and the time of the Executive Director
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to identify key points from complex material or information.
  • Numerate and the ability to monitor financial information.
