Description

This is an exciting and rare opportunity within Cantraybridge community team for a Team Leader/Senior Support Worker to oversee our team to support a young man in the community.

The role would be 28 hours per week.

Our client is a friendly young man with autism, who lives in his own home in the Inverness area.

To support our client, you will need to be friendly, understanding, a good listener, have a clean driver's licence, and be able to cook.


Tasks included in the role would be:

  • Managing rotas
  • Being a sounding board for our client and staff
  • Understand of fixed thinking in relation to Autism
  • To prioritise knowing the client
  • Open communication with client staff and parents
  • Support staff through coaching and Mentoring.
A 14-hour support shift with our client would be included in the 28 hours. (8am - 10pm (7pm - 10pm on call)). The remaining 14 hours can be completed at home (laptop provided).

Salary:
£15.00 per hour
