The Opportunity
Woking within the Supply Chain team to support the Company in achieving its mission to be most reliable and efficient provider of technical industrial services; in accordance with the Kaefer values of Colleagueship, Result Orientation, Professionalism, Reliability, Respect & Trust.
The primary focus is to procure goods and services quickly and accurately to ensure operations are maintained across the business with a focus on QCD.
Operational
- Raise POR's for goods and services.
- Expedite POR's to ensure lead times are met
- Assess and approve new vendor requests.
- Invoice query resolution.
- Maintain an accurate hired plant tracker.
- Engage with key stakeholders across the business to develop relationships, understand requirements and project pipeline.
- Be a champion for the function, providing guidance and support to site teams for all aspects of supply chain.
- Take part in precontract kick off meetings to understand the requirement and develop robust supply chains that support the delivery of the project.
- Participate in QBR's
- Carry out vendor audits in line with the agreed audit schedule.
- Review and analyse spend data using a range of platforms to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Carry out regular vendor database reviews, ensuring targeted rationalisation of key categories of spend.
- Accurately track and report savings in line with group policy.
- Develop robust category plans that support the objectives of the function and wider business.
The Person
To be considered for this role you will be an experienced Supply Chain professional with the ability to demonstrate;
- Excellent communication skills to deal with staff and external vendors
- Professionalism and ability to deal with all levels of staff
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- Accurate in production of information
- Full understanding and supporting in roles of Supply Chain Department
- Proven to demonstrate strong, positive behaviours which enable the Supply Chain department to run in an efficient manner
- Previous experience in similar Supply Chain role
- Experience working with Pegasus / SAP or similar ERP systems
- Have completed or be willing to work towards CIPS or similar procurement & supply chain qualification.
