WR Fundraising Recruitment is very proud to be working with a well-established and inspirational homeless charity. Working from several different hubs and hostels they provide food, hygiene facilities, support, drug and alcohol counsellingand accommodation in their mission to help people that have been forced onto the streets.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right fundraiser to join a small but dedicated and proactive fundraising and communications team as their Communications Officer.

This role is ideal for an innovative and creative individual with experience of digitalfundraising, someone that can inspire the local community to help this charity make a difference.

Communications and Engagement Officer

Hybrid Working (2-3 days a week in office)

Full Time - Permanent

Chichester, West Sussex

Salary - £27,306 Per Annum

Duties will include:

Ensuring supporters are kept up to date with fundraising campaigns
Assist with the management and development of the supporter database
Supporting the design and creation of all internal and external communications
Taking the lead on all social media channels
Support the team with planning and delivering events, in particular with pre and post event communication
Experience of communications and creating content across different media streams
Experience with design and social media tools
Experience of coproducing creative copy for mailings, posters and marketing campaigns
The ability to be selfmotivated and proactive
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair
