Description
At Dexory, autonomous robots are a critical part of our product offering.

We design and build our robots in house and are building new purpose built spaces for assembly, testing and product demos.

We are seeking a meticulous and organised Stock Controller. You will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the inventory of mechanical/electronics engineering components and materials.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring accurate documentation, and optimising stock processes to meet production demands efficiently.

This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain accurate records of all engineering components and materials in stock, utilizing inventory management software (BOMIST)
  • Monitor stock levels and anticipate demand to ensure adequate supplies are available for production activities.
  • Coordinate with the Finance/Procurement team to place orders for stock replenishment in a timely manner, considering lead times and production schedules.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips, identifying discrepancies and taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to reconcile physical stock levels with system records, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with production and logistics teams to coordinate the timely delivery of materials to support manufacturing operations.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for stock management processes to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the stock control function, proposing and implementing process enhancements as appropriate.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to address stockrelated issues and facilitate resolution.
  • Cross functionally coordinate with production, engineering and procurement to manage revisions to our bill of materials and the resulting stock requirements
  • Any other adhoc tasks as necessary

Requirements:


  • Proven experience working as a stock controller,or similar role, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate crossfunctionally and build positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance principles and procedures related to stock management preferred.
