We are looking to take on a bright, enthusiastic accounts assistant who is as passionate as we are about providing outstanding accountancy services to our clients.

You will work alongside our experienced accountants and your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation, completion and submission of accounts
• Completion and submission of VAT returns
• Personal and Company Tax Returns
• Onboarding new clients
• Bank reconciliations and bookkeeping
• Communicating and resolving financial and compliance issues with clients and HMRC
• Keeping up to date technically and providing accurate and efficient advice to clients
• General adhoc duties that arise day to day

Ideal requirements include:

• AAT/ATT qualified or ACCA/ACA part qualified
• Experience of online accounting software, especially Xero and Dext
• At least 1 years recent experience in an accountancy practice
• Experience in the preparation of statutory and management accounts
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Fantastic organisational skills, an eye for detail and the ability to work under your own initiative.

Salary is dependant on experience, and you have the opportunity to enhance this with bonuses and referrals.

Salary:
£22,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
