LCP is an award-winning consultancy providing advice on pensions, investments, insurance, energy, health analytics and employee benefits. We advise nearly one quarter of the FTSE250 and half of the FTSE100 firms. We are a team of over 1000 across our offices in London and Winchester.


We currently have an opening in our Risk Benefits Consulting department, initially on a 6 month fixed term basis, who has particular experience in broking Private Medical Insurance (PMI) Part-time working hours are available for this position.


Who are the department?


The Risk Benefits Consulting (RBC) team provides advice to both Corporate clients and Trustees on a range of health and well-being employee benefits.


We manage the design, broking and administration of**:

life assurance, income protection, critical illness insurance, private medical insurance and health cash plans, dental insurance, trustee indemnity insurance and much more.

We design, price and place insurance with a range of insurers for both new and existing arrangements.


What will you be doing?
As a Healthcare consultant, your main responsibilities will be;

  • Explaining to and advising employers on their particular options and choices
  • Negotiating with providers on healthcare related products
  • Helping to design, develop and set processes within the department
  • Promoting our services
  • Overseeing the daytoday administration and assisting the wider team where appropriate

What skills and experience are we looking for?

  • Familiarity with acting as a broker consultant in PMI, in particular experience related PMI arrangements
  • Experience with wider healthcare related services and products will be very useful
  • Ability to develop processes
  • Comfortable working on a mixture of smaller and larger schemes
  • Experience working as broker consultant in group risk products such as group life and income protection will be very welcome
