Description
Ward Sister/ Charge Nurse Advert (Band 6) Forest

Are you a passionate and motivated nurse interested in helping patients reach their personal goals to achieve a good quality of life on leaving hospital? Are you looking for the next step on the career ladder and wanting to join a friendly innovative team with plenty of opportunities for learning?

If the answer is yes, then we have a great opportunity for you

Swindon Intermediate Care Centre (SWICC) encompasses three wards, specialising in rehabilitation, and complex discharge planning for adults.

We now have a vacancy for a B6 to join the team on Forest, a 30 bedded ward specialising in rehabilitation of predominantly stroke and trauma patients.

We are seeking an experienced registered Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team of therapists, social workers and wider specialists such as Tissue Viability and Parkinson's.

Previous experience in Stroke, Trauma or Rehabilitation would be very helpful but not essential. We would also be very interested in hearing from dual Register RMN/RN nurses or those with Learning Disabilities experience.

Whatever your previous experience, you must have robust clinical skills and experience of co coordinating a ward and staff management.
