JOB SUMMARY
KEY DUTIES
- To be a trusted advisor on all employment related issues including policies & procedures, ER cases (disciplinary. capability hearings, grievances, PIP's etc), restructuring, recruitment etc.
- Contribute to the development of good HR practice and procedures to drive performance and engagement by actively participating and contributing within the function and networking with other colleagues.
- Managing the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation and ensuring all policies and procedures are up to date and in line with new employment law.
- Managing a vast range of HR projects such as appraisals, DE&I, wellbeing initiatives, retention, engagement, comp & bens, rem com, levy scheme and employer branding.
- Managing the HR, Facilities & Front of House team and the department budgets (Team of 4, 1 direct report).
- Recruiting high quality talent using cost efficient manners.
- Assisting the HR functions in the Quintessentially global Hub Offices.
HOURS OF WORK
Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm
- 1 year maternity cover contract to commence in May/June 2024_
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years exposure to a similar role.
- CIPD Level 5+ qualified or equivalent.
- Demonstrable understanding of good practice and employment law.
- Familiarity with influencing, mediating and conflict resolution.
- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and management skills.
- Demonstrates ability to serve as a knowledgeable HR resource.
- Fast learner adapting to new processes in rapid change climate.
- The ability to prioritise, delegate and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written & oral communication.
- Good IT skills.
- Ability to remain calm & courteous under pressure, and effective conflict management.
- Mature approach, dedicated and committed with a strong worth ethic.
- Dealing with confidential information using discretion and sensitivity at all times.
