The division employs over 8,500 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.
We have an excellent opportunity for an experience production planner to join the team as a Senior Production Planner.ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Senior Production Planner, coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedule
This will involve:
- 2 Direct Reports (Production Planners)
- Daily planning and scheduling for multiple production areas
- Implementing and maintaining the factory schedule
- Creating weekly plans to cover forecasted sales
- Ensuring factory set up in the mornings
- Analyzing trends and forecasts to inform the planning process
ABOUT YOU:
- Must have experience in a similar Production Planner role within the food industry
- Excellent excel skills
- A good understanding of supply chain principles in an FMCG environment
- Ability to rapidly reorganise according to constantly changing circumstances
- A logical thinker with strong numerical and analytical skills, you will be able to consider the impact new developments will have on the production plan in both the immediate and long term
