What you'll be doing


Your role will be to help us to improve the lives of blind and partially sighted people by delivering a programme of challenge events; maximising income and repeat support by delivering outstanding supporter stewardship across multiple channels; maximising recruitment through well planned and executed marketing activity; and using data, insight and innovation to continuously improve supporter experience.


The role is critical to improving the performance of our existing events, delivering outstanding and innovative supporter care; developing and managing brand new insight-led events, raising our profile and brand awareness, and ultimately raise more money to ensure the RNIB can reach and support more people affected by sight loss.


What you'll need to succeed in this role
You'll need management experience as the role will see you manage 2 x Officers and 1 x Co-ordinator. Experience working with key stakeholder internally and externally, managing responsibilities, project groups, various internal colleagues and teams, and external partners and suppliers

You will be responsible for managing significant Challenge Event income budgets.

Create, monitor and manage a range of financial transactions and budgets as well as supporting other Challenge Event colleagues manage their budgets.


This role can be worked on a hybrid basis with a requirement to attend our London office based in Kings Cross at least once a week, you might also need to attend events outside of your regular working hours.
