ROLE SUMMARY:

Before we get into the list of tasks within this role, wouldn't be it great to know what you will receive from this role:

  • You will work primarily in our office, which is based on the outskirts of Earls Colne in Essex. Great transport connections along with country views. Makes for a lovely commute in

  • You will work with a variety of clients including individuals, sole traders, partnerships and Limited companies. Most of our clients are small to medium sized businesses which means you will speak directly with the amazing entrepreneurs we help on a very regular basis. This gives you the chance to make a genuine difference to their families and their businesses.

  • You will have had experience of working in an office environment (ideally an accountancy firm or similar professional services environment) and love to work closely with a small team.
  • You will have excellent organisational skills and a friendly and approachable manner, with the ability to put clients at ease in a professional manner.
  • You will have strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and manage own workload to meet tight deadlines.
  • You will be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • You will be keen to grow your knowledge and will be surrounded by a team who will support you are every step. You will have the opportunity to undertake training towards professional qualifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Services


  • Updating and maintaining a number of databases of client information.
  • Recording and managing the flow of information within the firm.
  • Managing the calling in and returning of client records.
  • Preparation of documentation for meetings, recording accurate minutes and follow up actions.
  • Manage junior staff to support you in your role.
  • Answering telephones, taking messages, covering reception, general filing and other administrative duties.
Business Development


  • Identify opportunities to offer additional services to clients
  • Promote the services of the business to clients and potential clients

Salary:
£23,500.00-£30,000.00 per year


Expected hours:
No less than 25 per week
