This globally recognised leader, who has over a century of impressive history within the industry. Due to recent company restructure they are seeking a Manual Machinist to join their team.

As a Manual Machinist your job is to use standard manual workshop machines to produce components

Key Role & Responsibilities as a Manual Machinist

  • To carry out engineering tasks using manually operated machines and hand tools.
  • To use a variety of measuring equipment.
  • Designing and manufacturing of fabricated components using Gas, Mig, Tig, Plasma cutting sheet cutter and bending equipment
  • Stripping, rebuilding, and modifying prototype diesel engines
Key Skills Required as a CNC programmer, Setter & Operator:

  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to utilise a variety of manufacturing techniques.
  • Ability to use a variety of measuring techniques and types of equipment.
  • Familiar with use of CAD models/ Solid Works or similar.
